Eric Fuerstenberg

My name is Eric Fuerstenberg and I live in southwest Wisconsin with my family. I started working with students as a high school football coach. I enjoyed coaching so much that I became a paraprofessional at the school that my wife teaches at. A few years ago I talked with my wife about going back to school and becoming a special education teacher to help students even more. My family has supported me throughout this process and now that the end is here they are all happy for me.

As a family, we spend most of our time outside with our animals or doing different activities. We have 5 dogs, 3 turtles, a snake, and 5 horses. Our family enjoys all the time we spend with the animals, even when it comes to feeding them. Besides playing with our animals we enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, and playing sports outside.

I attended Grand Canyon University to receive my double major in Elementary Education and Special Education. After graduating, I attended Ohio University to receive my master's degree in Sports Administration. I have over 20 years in coaching varsity sports in football, wrestling, and baseball.Â
